On the day Barack Obama is inaugurated, my piece of flash fiction about the inopportune election of a dimwit is up on Every Day Fiction. This is coincidence. It really is. Can I still get a visa please?

Well maybe not coincidence on the part of the EDF editors. There’s nothing better than a story that makes me laugh AND satisfies my desire for the subtly sinister.

Ha – maybe you’re right, even though they’re largely Canadian. Actually, maybe BECAUSE they’re Canadian! Always happy to provide a giggle anyway

Yes, I thought about the Canadian factor, then realized most countries except the US know what’s going on in other countries. (Disloyal of me, but couldn’t resist, and I paint myself with that brush. I have friends in the UK, Australia, and India and they know all about US politics, and my knowledge of their political scenes is fragile, at best.)

Thanks for another good laugh for the day. It is nice having a level-headed person at the helm. I sleep better.

Like this Suzanne and it did make me chuckle.

I seem to have cornered the chuckle-slot at EDF. With any luck, they’ll start laughing now whatever I send in and publish it instantly. Oh, you think it doesn’t work like that? Darn!
